Mike did kind of admit that it was his fault, and I believe that 100%. I don't see anything political on Bootsey's timeline and he seems like a pretty chill guy who just like sports and music and normie shit.

While, yeah, that particular one was a callback to his old magazine episode - you're right. The shtick is still tired and forced now, and I cringe at the sound of it. James doing AVGN reminds me of David Spade in that shitty Dickie Roberts movie where a washed up 40 year old man is still forced to endlessly repeat the stupid catchphrase that made him famous as a child actor eons ago. You can practically hear a part of his soul being crushed each time he does it.
