Along with promoting your work, social media is only worthwhile if you're having fun with it. Twitter is retarded and should be treated as such. It's for fucking around. Unpacking all of your baggage on it leads straight to misery and deserved ridicule.

The twist with Lindsay and Lupa is they're classic cases of women who enjoy being miserable. That's the only way that you get to a place in which, in a moment that defies logic 100%, you're sincerely posting to Twitter about how great it is to be away from Twitter. You're miserable and you want people to know that you're miserable because you think it's the most interesting thing about you.

It also makes you look like no fun and a completely annoying thing to be around. So people take shots at you just because they can. And that makes you miserable too, and the whole stupid cycle continues.
