I havent done a lot of research on it, but Ive read that there is only a small percent <edit> increase over non-inbread</edit> of inbreeding leading to a defect that isnt severe enough to cause a miscarriage or infant death.
Edit: unless there is constant inbreeding, of course. It gets worse the more inbreeding is done. But how common would that be? Outside of crazy cults and shit, who would do inbreeding anyways.

Do you really want to encourage the kinda people who'd knock up their sister? Sometimes, you just have to decide something is wrong and that's that. You can call that arbitrary if you want to but if there's something that creates intense aversion in almost 100% of the population it's okay to make that call.
Like playing with shit. It's not illegal and doesn't have to be harmful. It's still a good idea to pay special attention to those that would do it and it should probably be discouraged as much as possible.

Incest is one of those topics that make me think I would have been a eugenicist back in the day. The problem with letting siblings fuck is not just the slight increase their coupling would have for retardation, it's the fact the kids of said coupling are more like to fuck relatives do to the fact that is what they know of relationships, it's like the whole welfare queen fatherless home situation of the black community. Many of these kids now days only concept of relationships is without fathers and on the government teat and it's become a cancer to the country.
Legalizing incest is just giving this country another cancer. I could get behind legalizing it if the couple sterilized themselves first though that has a ton of implications itself.

Makes some sense that children around an incestuous couple might be more inclined to incest. Although I wonder if an incestuous couple would "advertise" that they're related. They could just live the same as any average married couple.

I also thought of another good reason why incest is bad (this is another reason why I don't like to debate/argue, I sometimes think up good arguments against myself).
It would be hard to prove coercion or grooming didn't take place. An older sibling or parent could manipulate a child into going along with it.

In short, I was the only one with a drivers licence for a while so its not a choice. I dislike driving whether its sober or high, the most boring shit ever.
