So this is an interview done with Derek, who put out a shit ton of videos. And he reviewed a shit ton of games. I don't like his reviews but I do respect his work ethic. A lot more than Mark's. There's a CGR review on the youtube listings for shitloads of games. Far more than normal CGR reviews if you ask me.

So far:

-Derek was scouted by office people who worked at CGR when it was being run like a small business
-Derek was NOT hired by Mark
-Derek came from written journalism rather than youtubing and didn't know who CGR was
-CGR had financial backing from somewhere, so think big fat piles of investor money
-Derek was making 12-15 videos per week
-for the final year, Derek was doing everything himself
