As Kugel said, this fuck does let's plays that are technically illegal and makes money off it because the people who make the games don't give a shit. This is the same thing, and as you said it's obvious he is a reseller cuntwad who is mad his boxed games aren't going to be worth as much so he is feigning outrage.
The only people who should actually give a fuck are the companies who made the old games and have the rights, but if they don't give a shit about this (and why should they, it is such a small niche thing that going after fan art at conventions would be more viable) why should anyone else? It hurts no one, and people who bought old games who want boxes to make their collections look nicer should be able to do so. The reason to be mad, as I said earlier, is if you have boxed retro games and can't sell them for stupidly high prices.
It's hilarious that Pat has a Scumbag Seller of the Week segment on his podcast when he is no fucking different.
