The only somewhat recent X-men film with any kind of positive reception was Logan. A film that didn't have the usual ensemble cast and starred two actors who were done with the franchise. Everything else since Days of Future Past has been so awful that not even the most soy of fanboys tries to defend it.

Logan is just another Mandawhorian, popular because the internet decided it was popular. Consoom!

Ironically, since everyone shits on it, Apocalypse is probably the best Sex-Men movie because Singer finally learned how to shoot action scenes and there's not a lot of slow shit weighing everything down. A thoroughly wasted series and they made like nineteen of the damn things.

The MCU's black Wolverine is going to be aces though!

The Ex-men series are only good for the first two films and maaaaybe Days of Future Past if you stretch it. Even with the "awesome BDSM leather, bro" shit, X1 and 2 were good for what they did. I'd even call them ok to good movies.

Logan was a pile of shit because it tried too hard and came out as super edgy and the original Logan comic the movie's based on is already full of pure EDGE
