It's probably the same blunder as this London film festival thingie. Anyone interested in these movies has probably seen them already.

Especially since that shit was entirely online. So, unlike every other film festival, you didn't even have to show up to see them.
He made the most pointless coverage of a film festival in the history of mankind when even the more plausible ones don't generate clicks.

They don't generate clicks because most of the stuff shown in these festivals is of little interest to people who aren't already invested in the film festival bubble.
