Without getting too off-topic, the Irish are generally anti-Brexit because it raises the very real prospect of a hard border in Ireland which is pretty much the one place on Earth where a hard border is unacceptable to both sides for various reasons. The Irish are pissed off because that will affect them even though they didn't get a vote in Brexit. it's pretty much the one issue where you can say Hagan has a point that isn't complete batshit lunacy, even if you disagree.

We didn't have any border controls on the Danish borders since the 90s. Not because of some EU shit but simply because both nations agreed to just drop them. Since the EU is, supposedly, a federation of independent nations, there shouldn't be a problem with Ireland having an open border with North Ireland, right?
Because if there is a problem it looks a lot like the EU is a bureaucratic shit show. That couldn't possibly be the case, right?
