I haven't seen the movie, but looking at trailers, what the fuck is Carrey supposed to be doing in that movie? He is nothing like Kaufman. When I see him in a role, where he's supposed to act like Kaufman, it's just Carrey. And it's super obnoxious, because even though I know very little about Kaufman, seeing a comparison video how Carrey acts versus the real life Kaufman, it's not even close. The fuck? Obviously Carrey was a big comery star in late 90's but if you can't make him change his routine, then don't cast him.

I'm just going to guess Carrey had this completely retarded idea in his head how he will make a "homage" to Kaufman and nobody was able to convince him otherwise, except it's still just him and he comes off as egotistical douchebag being himself in a movie about much more talented man than he ever could be. I like him in some movies as I've mentioned above, but this is idiotic from the very first second.
