I was posting this to dig at LUPA, but then I had to check something.

It's hard to believe, but Channel Awesome has more subs at 1.1 million. How the fuck did that happen?

Like others have said, Doge has been around longer and got popular before RLM did. Like a good year or two before the Star Wars reviews came out, the AVGN crossover helped him bigtime and if anything Doge hasn't really grown since 2010. NostalgiaAVGN fan reuploaded his shit to youtube 10 years ago for a while and the Nostalgia Critic videos would still get a few hundred thousand views despite most people actually watching them on the site.

If they did weekly Mr. Plinkett videos they easily would have surpassed CA in subs by now.

It's kind of amazing RLM even got big at all beyond Mr. Plinkett. Half In The Bag and all the others were pushed over the fanbases dead body. Such spite would kill most nobodies.
