There's always the possibility that could happen. If the doctor determines the surgery would be too risky, he'll tap the fuck out. If that happens, Boogie will have the perfect excuse to sympathy mine his fans for more hugboxing. He can pretend it totally isn't his fault at all and life dealt him yet another tragic reversal.

And yeah, the no soda thing is because of the carbonation fucking up your surgery. Diet vs nondiet doesn't matter in Boogie's case, although I'll leave it to you to imagine how many calories of full-sugar sodas Boogie USED to drink per day.

Of course he doesn't have any self control regarding food, otherwise he wouldn't be so desperate to get a fucking surgery as a last resort to deal with his morbid obesity.

He's focusing on one and only idea, and that is that since his stomach will be so small, he won't be able to physically overeat so much, and if he tries to stuff his face like he does every single day, he's just going to throw up and try to kill himself.

That's his plan, he refuses to do something with his broken mind, so he'll try to fuck up his body even more. It's just another form of escape for him, so he doesn't have to take responsiblity for himself. He's 42-43, why would he ever have to take responsibility. He has full-time caretaker for life, all the food, toys and videogames he could ever want, so why grow up? If you just read some of the comments under his videos, apparently everybody would like to be like him. Broken down.
