Girls don't care much about vidya, cars and guns. What else is new? I don't see the thousands of make-up bitches on YT that have viewerships in the millions bemoaning that so few boys watch their shit.
If you're so open and welcoming to everyone, why do you even care?

Mario 64 plays quite well to this day. It looks like ass, but it plays fine. Spyro plays even better than fine-it has some of the best 3D controls in any platformer. The swimming is a thing of beauty (you have no air meter either), you can stop your glide on a dime and the dash is what Sanic wishes he had. It's fast but also controllable. Spyro 2 and 3 are just so fucking good. Poonoo will attest that I played them rather recently for the first time and was really impressed by their quality. What a shame the dev team handed the games off after the third one.

In addition to what wildimage said, I'll add that any Sonic game will demonstrate to you that it's not always easy to translate 2D gaming into 3D.
Don't forget Castlevania. That franchise would've died way before Konami became batshit if they didn't have the foresight to keep the 2D games alive.

Thing with Castlevania is that it could have translated to 3D very well. Demon's Souls/Dark Souls are basically 3D Castlevanias. They're what the franchise should have become

That fucking mug. I swear I'm not a good judge of character but anyone who wants to make a gaming channel and posts a picture of their ugly grin instead of a picture of vidya is just a small-name big ego shyster that wants to be famous.

Seriously, how could the cancer grow this much?
How dare you.

And now that the world of gayming has souls, we don't need a 3d castlevania game. Dank Souls, Demon's Souls, Bloodborne etc are all what castlevania in 3d should have been. Even if castlevania goes 3D successfully and translates the formula over, they'll just be accused of being a souls clone.

Though they could choose to bring over elements from Igavania games, like restarting at your last save room when you die, timed speedruns through the game for unlocks, a "soul set" system, secret playable characters and extra dungeons unlocked upon beating the game.

The franchise is dead at this point thanks to Konami.

Just the way Konami want it. They'll eventually succeed in turning all their franchises into pachinko machines.
