You are correct that The Blob's pathology is bit a different to The Warthog's, in that his narcissism is so extreme that he tries to project strength rather than weakness ('I'm so strong I lifted 300 pounds', 'I'm so tough because I'm from Bahstan and we fight', 'I'm so fit I've lost so much weight', 'I'm such a cunt destroyer that women are so stoked on me' etc).

But he still projects weakness. Good examples are when he did his whole 'I have the sugars' sadpost in the first place, which he could have easily kept to himself and should have, but decided to share with the world because he wanted the attention and asspats. Then there's his narc rage because he's not on a starship travelling the galaxy with Hillary Clinton or whatever, and his mental anguish because lockdowns and restrictions robbed him of summer, Halloween and being able to consoom Mahvul dogshit, but it's MAGA chuds fault for not following the restrictions that provably haven't worked in the first place.
