I don't believe anyone said there would be no money, there would obviously be some money. But you have to understand that this is a cumulative total of earnings made during streaming that he did inconsistently over a year. The mentally ill degenerate trannies that remain of his fanbase can obviously afford to give him their SSDI money once in a great while when he can be bothered to stream.

If he were to make a comeback it's unlikely he would make what he used to before he decided to pack it in. He's burned bridges with most of his fans from back then, and he's unlikely to attract any younger, new viewers because they don't know who he is and he's long dead to the algorithm. His loyal fanbase of degenerate discord trannies would probably find it difficult to support his work if he actually made a consistent effort, vs giving him a couple of bucks now and then when he can be bothered to turn on a camera.

Consider someone like Game Grumps. As older viewers mature and realise they're a bunch of unfunny soyboy faggots, they're able to maintain their viewer base by attracting younger viewers who think they're the funniest thing ever and are too young to realise they're a bunch of faggots. With Spoony the former has happened, the older viewers have realised he's a cunt, but the latter is not happening. He's not attracting those younger viewers who've yet to realise he's a cunt, because he's not putting out any content.
