Correct. It has a locking blade and thus is illegal to carry in the dystopian empire.

A small knife like that is something you carry to give other people when they ask you for a knife, instead of giving them your actual knife and hoping they don't drop it. Or that they don't cut themselves.
I never hand my knife to anyone because most people never held a really sharp knife in their life. Hell, most don't even understand sharpness.

I have four Spyderco knives but not a single folder. Their folders are ridiculously overpriced.

The reason why switchblades are illegal is fucking retarded. West side story. The stilleto style switchblades in the movie are not good fighting knives but were commonly used by seamstresses. A prop manager saw the costume makers using them and bought a whole bunch for the movie.

They just have this weird paranoia about switchblades you can "activate" with a single hand. As if that was the reason people get shanked.

It's retarded argumentation, considering that fixed knives with a blade length of up to 12 cm are legal here. The kicker is that while otf automatics are completely illegal to even own, carrying a fixed blade of over 12 cm lenght is a misdemeanor you pay 30 Euros for.
Or in short, unless it's a dagger or karambit you can carry any fixed knife either completely legal or with a slap on the wrist at worst.

They are also all easily used with one hand. I draw my Spyderco Reverse quicker than you get a switchblade out of the pocket.

I always carry a "rescue tool". You know. In case I need to stab a sumbitch with a screwdriver to rescue myself.
