My interest dropped hard after his return. The intro, the skits and the padding (thanks to the skits) was just too much for me. And those editorials were just awful.
I think the last straw was some review were the skits just kept repeating the same boring joke in slight variations (because it was so funny the first time around). It was so bad that I can't even tell anymore what the review was actually about, though I guess it was The Wiz or some other Oz-related movie because the skit involved the Wicked Witch of the West.

The Commercials video?

That could be it, so I can't really remember anything aside from that skit who felt like it went on forever despite you already knowing how it will play out from the start.

The sad part is that I actually liked the commercial videos. And at least the first one didn't really have much in the way of skits aside form ""F*cking bubbles!". Guess everything Demo Reel touches gets destroyed.

(And by "Demo Reel" I mean Fat Girl and Black Furry.)

However I'm going to offer a contrary opinion here, I actually prefer Nostalgia Critic as it currently is, as opposed to his earlier work which is full of constant memes (chuck norris), repeated clips (of course) and in-jokes (timing). That's not to say I like the skits, I guess I'm saying I find them less annoying than the previously mentioned stuff. I'd rather he had no skits at all, but I guess he's obligated to use black dude and fat girl somehow.

These memes are just as cancerous, and it got worse as he added more and more (clearly, it was the best at the very beginning before he started making them). But at the very least, those were shorter and that is more important regarding the flow of the whole video.

If you put several shitty skits that barely have anything to do with movie in question and each one of them can last 2 minutes, you are basically jumping between two things constantly. And that, aside from those skits being useless, is something I can't stand. It's boring, it's not funny, it's being repeated so much that those might as well be new memes, and did I mention that it's a waste of time? Doge has really lost his mind.

Unless Doge has fans as equally dedicated as Spoony that will remove these skits and release "watchable" versions of his newer videos, I'll never watch anything he creates ever again.

I stopped watching him some time before Kickassia. I don't think I've watched a single video of his for more then a couple of seconds since then.
