Paladins is free on PS4 now, the other "OverWatch" rip off of 2016 (despite OverWatch being a rip off of Team Fortress 2)

All of these MOBAFPS games are failing except for OverWatch. When that one fails, they'll all be done. Remember Battleborn? I actually like Gearbox because of Borderlands 2, despite all their SJW shit, but c'maaaan. Battleborn was a huge failure and I'm shocked that shit didn't go F2P as well.

What else is there? I guess that one ninja game kugel likes that's been F2P since the beginning. Everything else rode in on hype and marketing until release, then died.

I kind of think the formula for the genre is fucked anyway. You can get a great PvE co-op experience in a game like Borderlands, but with persistent character-building, looting, farming and tons more customization. If someone puts proper, balanced PVP into Borderlands 3, there will be no reason to ever bother with FPS MOBAs. These FPS MOBAs look, to me at least, like very lightcore FPS RPGs anyway. So as I said, get a REAL first-person RPG in and what moba can compete with that? Imagine Quake or DOOM mixed with WoW.

Yeah, Warframe has always been free to play. Paladins is supposedly doing rather fine.
But fuck Gearbox so fucking hard! Aliens: CM and fucking over SEGA and taking Duke Nukem hostage, both thanks to the fucked US legal system, has landed them on my blacklist. The whole SJW shit is just the icing on the cake. I wish they would go bankrupt and Randy Pitchford can die in a ditch.

The only thing they didn't fuck up is Borderlands 2, although some of the dialogue is cringeworthy.

Gearbox kind of fucked the Pre-Sequel by not supporting it. It's such a ridiculously smaller game than BL2 and it has so many fewer items that it's kind of not worth playing at all once you've done the main story once or twice. Which doesn't take long because the game is so much shorter. The Holodome is a shitty arena and the Claptrap DLC isn't too amazing. Some of the new characters use recycled animations from the old vault hunters and a lot of the unique guns are just reskins. A bunch of the best/most fun guns aren't even in TPS at all, like the Ogre.

BL2 had 4 entire campaign DLCs, a bunch of arenas like the Holodome, Digistruct Peak, which is super fun, a bunch of headhunter packs with bosses in them, every story DLC had a new raid boss, all this AND the main campaign and vanilla game are WAY bigger than TPS. The main campaign of Borderlands 2 is arguably around twice the size of TPS. Oh and you can get all of this DLC for free buying the handsome collection/trilogy.

Let's not forget that Borderlands was a completely original concept, totally not ripping anything else off...
