I never thought I'd be put in the awkward unthinkable situation of defending Peter Coffin.
Peter's point was that if 120mil isn't enough to entice enough viewers, bringing it back won't either.
I mean, what else could they do? Shit just didn't work. And when you're getting up there in movie budget territory or even surpassing it, the financial aspect can't get overlooked.
It's one thing for Disney to burn a million just to fill the roster on Disney+, it's another burning enough money to make three to four shows or a movie instead.
Blob's quality argument is ridiculous. It's not that the show was popular but too expensive. It was far too expensive and not popular at all.
Actually nobody liked the show. Not even Blob likes it. This is just team sport shit. The Acolyte is the Hilarry Clinton of shows. Everyone fucking hated it, including Disney and Soy Wars supporters. They just pretend they do because they must.
