If you started 10 years ago there's a good chance as long as you stuck around you could attract an audience. I mean hell pat the reseller punk had one if that's any consideration.

Starting a channel today would be a waste of time for a job, it'd be okay as a hobby but you couldn't reach anyone, the only channels that get views by making a channel today is reactions and reposting family guy clips.

The vid is a good soft introduction into the channel awesome hellscape for newcomers. Doge is the most straightforward of CA's fuckups so he was a good choice for the that purpose. I hope Jim doesn't try to compress all of spoony's shittiness into 20 minutes for next month's vid though

Used to be anyone with the talent/work ethic could grow a channel from nothing by making video replies to other popular videos. But that feature got scrapped when google bought the platform, I believe (might have been before that idk). Now talent and work ethic are irrelevant. New youtube stars ascend solely by who the google gods decide to shill in everybody's recommendations AHEM I mean by going viral :^)
