I didn't get married until my late 30s and I did a lot of dating before that and became fascinated with how common it is for women to love their own unhappiness. It gives them a chance to yell and complain and feel alive.

And social media turns everyone who participates in it into women, oversharing and being nosey on platforms that you claim to hate, but to which you are addicted. And most of the Bluesky self-exiles are gonna go right back to that boyfriend that they will tell you all day that they can't stand. I've seen it before.
