Autism is poor social skills, not inability to tell right from wrong or self inspect.

That's Assburgers. CWC is a "high functioning" autist. At the time of his diagnosis, autists were those kids that wouldn't or hardly react to the outside world at all. The fact he could have rudimentary conversations alone made him high functioning.

Now, he's the very worst example of one. He was raised in isolation by two hoarder retard parents. Had he been raised better with early help he'd be like Blob or Linky.
Linkara and Blob don't have Assburgers. They have full blown autism, just like CWC. They just didn't grow up under the worst conditions possible.

Assburgers being counted as autism is a very recent thing and quite frankly not a very fair definition. They are vastly different from actual "high functioning" autists.
It's like putting those non-ineractive autists and savants like Rainman into the same box. Technically all autism but it's like saying that bulemia, anorexia and over eating are all eating disorders and thus the same.

You have a point, although I think it's better to put it under the same umbrella of conditions, like a family of conditions which are not mutually exclusive but distinct from eachother, just like a Bluejay and Crow are both covids.

Bulemia and anoexia, and binge eating are all eating disorders. If not that then they are all horrible relationships to food.

Autism and asbergers would fall under the same umbrella, probably.

However you can have something like borderline personality disorder and ADHD which are also not mutually exclusive and share symptoms. But you don't have to have one to have the other. There would probably need a broader umbrella to cover those conditions.

I'm not a psychologist, I'm just suggesting a model which can be easily understood here.
