I love how Culkin sounds more natural than Rolfe does, even though Rolfe's been doing these videos without much of a pause for a decade(although to be fair, he used to sound a lot more natural)

Because Culkin is an actual actor with a lot of experience, and even heavy use of drugs and who knows what else didn't completely erase that away. James is sadly just a guy who nowdays writes shitty scripts and then turns into the only mode he knows that I wouldn't call acting. Which is why I always prefer him just talking normally, when he switches to "the Nerd", its fucking awful. It only got worse with time, which is the case with most nobodies - perfect example is our saint patron Spoony, who started as a guy kinda ranting about stuff, but mostly talking, and ended with obnoxious screeching during most of his latest videos. Or Douche Walker, but most of the people would agree that he was annoying faggot when he started.

Seriously, this is such a waste - why not just do a let's play with Culkin, and cut it up? Remove the shitty parts where you have him say dumb stuff that's not funny or interesting, and just talk, let the conversation develop more naturally - you can still shit on the game, but something funny could actually happen on it's own. James just can't write comedy, he's been burned out for years and it's painful to see. Culkin might look worse physically, but compared to James, I think he has a chance of having some redemption in the future.

Without joking, I think that Rental Video series is better than the Nerd, because they actually sit down and talk about the movie - like human beings, or at least as close to it as they can get.
