That's the least problematic bit of this multi-media "franchise" Killjoy's sidekick is the stereotypical Asian-American punk girl you've seen in every US cartoon. She even has that colored streak they all have. Killjoy herself repeatedly belittles and mocks marginalized communities, and has no shame...

Re: Russia

You think Arabs will care if he rounds up some Chechens? China is putting their Muslims in concentration camps, and no one but stupid white people seem to give a toss.

This isn't the first time he has shat on the original version of the character (who probably was a self-insert) before he saw the light and came up with the new version (an insert of that one chick he's obsessed with). Personally I would've preferred the generic tough guy version, 'cause generic tou...

Re: People love complaining, right? Complain about everything (life, health, bad luck, random shit etc)

This belief system also creates arrogance, as the religious believe they have answered The Questions with their god-of-the-gaps, and thus feel superior to the rest of the world. Few people are as insufferable as a religious convert. They will never stop telling people how they used to be a "bad per...

Re: Books

Everything worth reading started out in (proto-)pulp magazines.

And technically the Musketeer Saga is comprised of 3 books, but the last one - with the Iron Mask - tends to get split up into multiple volumes.

Re: Dead Celebrities aren't much fun

I was gonna make a joke about how its now a good time to make a contemporary 3D kids cartoon, but apparently they've already done it in 2011.

Re: Capeshit thread (comics and movies)

Don't forget that they had the odd idea to give Storm her punk haircut ('cause we can't have a modern piece of Western animation without a female side shave) without also giving her her matching punk outfit . https://cdn.marvel.com/content/1x/mohawk_storm.jpg Instead they kept her classic costume wh...
