Huh. Toon in With Me used to have this rather annoying Jewish chick on the show as a writer and talent. One day she wasn't there any more. I wonder if this is related to that.

Something odd about the Sand Land translation is that they're soft-censoring "religious" terminology. Satan is translated as "Lucifer", Akuma is translated as "fiend" instead of the more common "devil" or "demon".

I'm watching Akira Toriyama's penultimate anime, "Sand Land". This is fun. Wish it wasn't CGI, but that's probably the only way they could afford to do it. The first 6 episodes adapt the manga and from then on is new material. It's interesting how much the culture has changed compared to the Dragon ...
