Which one? I'd like to think after Walker he was well used to that feeling when low energy Jeb! got styled on by Trump. He likely knew him well enough to know that it would happen.
I assumed he was talking about Jeb!

Did he finally finish his memoirs before he died?

Must suck to have your final years being stuck in a wheelchair watching your wife die, get accused of sexual harressment and see your son be humilated and fail spectaculary.

On the plus side, they held back the last batch of Kennedy papers to protect him from being lynched. Someone in the guv still loves him.

But he did give us one true gift to the world:

James Danforth Quayle.

[As for his presidency, I did like his thousand points of light idea. But I agree it was primarily overrated, or a harbinger of worse presidents to come.]

His legacy is his lie, "Read my lips, no new taxes!" and spending millions of dollars and getting 146 Americans and tens of thousands of other people killed defending fat cat Kuwaiti oil tycoons.

He kinda sucked, but I feel like he was the last real President our country ever had. Not coincidentally, he was the last Greatest Generation president. Everyone after him were Boomer clowns.
Plus he was a jerk to Homer Simpson
Thank you for bringing up that beef, it led to one of my favorite episodes.

Oh, I forgot the other thing he was remembered for:

Here's the reenactment that my friends and I made in high school.
 Well that was delightful.
