It was kinda a dick move that the only Star Wars character available to both consoles is that non-canon edgelord who holds his lightsaber the wrong way.
I can live with that, seeing as how it introduced Sam Witwer to the franchise. He's a great voice actor

Best Star Wars game is obviously Soul Calibur 4.

Eh, sure. Then again you're not walking around wearing a kevlar vest either.

And how would anyone forget that one metal that lightsabers don't just go through like a hot knife through butter?
people forget all sorts of things, both in fiction and real life.

But given that for 1000 years, the only known lightsaber-wielders were peacekeeping Jedi(who didn't really spread out through the galaxy until the Clone Wars), one could argue that the necessity for cortosis largely disappeared.

And yet one out of two blokes in the Old Republic carries at least one sword made out of that stuff.

If I wanted to go extra autistic about this, I could point out that none of the melee weapons in the game have any sort of disadvantage against lightsabers, therefore every single melee weapon in the game is made out of Cortosis.

And how would anyone forget that one metal that lightsabers don't just go through like a hot knife through butter?

And this hasn't been used as a parrying weapon by literally every Sith in existence because...?
Cortosis armor was a main plot point in Jedi Outcast. I think they were only able to mine it from one remote asteroid field. It's plausible enough that the Sith just weren't aware of it or lost the information.

Because that totally doesn't make it any dumber.
Wookiepedia wrote:Cortosis ore was a very rare, brittle, fibrous material, the conductive properties of which would cause lightsabers to temporarily short out upon contact.

Voice, the KOTOR swords were also made out of a metal that can parry lightsabres.
