DOA6 is out. Did you not know that it came out yesterday? I didn't, but its there.
No, I didn't. I'll likely even forget now that I know.

Also, if you doubt my point about team ninja and game graphics, go compare Ninja Gaiden Black to Ninja Gaiden 2. Both games look good but nothing about NG2's visuals screams "this is the next generation of visual quality." NG Black was a benchmark game from the og xbox/ps2/gamecube era because it looked so much better than almost every other game across all platforms. Ninja Gaiden 2? Nah, it looks merely good. By the time NG2 was out, xbox 360 and ps3 already had better-looking games on it. Later that very same year, Dead Space came out for the same platform.

And Ninja Gaiden 3? Shit looks downright ugly artistically and the graphical fidelity is mediocre. It looks about as good as NG2, but with much worse color choices. NG2 was graphically a natural slight step up from NG Black and still had a lot of colorful and vibrant areas. But NG3 did the whole brown and gray and red thing, which just underscored how bland the game looks:

^Here's NG3 running on ps3 and wii u.

Here's Ninja Gaiden 2 running on xbox 360. Looks better than NG3 running on ps3 to me, tbh.

^Here's Ninja Gaiden Black running in HD. I'm not trying to troll here. You can see that the visuals aren't as crisp as NG2 and 3, but the different on the models really isn't that big. It still fundamentally looks like the same game.

I'm not trying to say anything about the quality of the games, just that I remember a time when Team Ninja were on the forefront of console graphics and now it's clear their own laziness/new jewish priorities are leading them in a different direction. People used to say "oh man, Ninja Gaiden and DoA! Those games look better than anything else on the consoles!" And then consolefags would slapfight about whether RE4 looked better than NG Black or if DoA 3 looked better than Tekken 5. DoA and NG now look like ass compared to the fighting games coming out these days.

All of it. Not even joking. DoA5 had more like $1000 worth of costume DLC and moeblob guest fighters. Again, not even joking.
It's because slants will pay out the ass for that kind of shit. Check out all those Nip gacha games. Motherfuckers spending like $2k a month on that shit.

DoA peaked as a franchise on the original xbox. Like I said, if you output og xbox DoA 3 and 2U in HD, it basically looks about as good as DoA5 did. Team Ninja hit their stride technologically in the OG Xbox era and they never really surpassed that. Meanwhile, while it still looks good, you can go back to Tekken 5 DR and see the massive downgrade in visual quality between that and Tekken 7.

DoA still looks like the same DoA today, with the same soft barbie faces and candlelight shaders.

I couldn't tell you if the gameplay is any better, because it feels exactly the fucking same to me. DoA 3 had a simplified counter system, but DoA 2U uses the more complex system which is still in DoA 5. You can pick up Helena in DoA2U, DoA3 and DoA5LR and she'll still be Helena. Pretty much the exact same character.

Autism comes at a price I'm afraid. Marie Rose won't wear that maid outfit for free.

How much of that DLC is swimsuits and moeblob guest fighters?

I recently hooked up an original xbox and it sure feels different to play DoA 3 and DoA 2U. Sure, the gameplay is still DoA, but there's no dlc at all. Instead, you unlock the costumes by playing the game! Fucking shocking. The games don't really look much worse than the current DoA stuff does.

They are all attention whores after all so it's to be expected. It's the number one reason for fursuiters being a thing in the first place. They love the attention.

At first I was "So the furry went to the tournament with his stupid fursuit heat on". But then again, why wouldn't a furry do just that?
